RoyalFortune is an independent history and travel guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any casino, vessel operator or gaming authority mentioned on this site. We receive no payment from, and have no editorial relationship with, any gaming operator named or implied on these pages. Our subject matter is the public legal and civic history of a specific stretch of Indian coastline, approached the way we would approach any other regional history topic.
How we research
Content on this site draws on publicly available reporting, general knowledge about Goa's history and administration, and secondary sources describing legal and infrastructural developments. Where a specific date, legal citation or figure is not something we can confirm with confidence from a primary source, we mark it clearly as approximate or as needing verification, rather than presenting it as settled fact. We do not fabricate names of vessels, operators or legal provisions and present them as certain history.
